Grey Francolin

The Grey Francolin (Scientific name - Francolinus pondicerianus), also known as the Grey Partridge is a medium sized partridge native to South Asia (India and Pakistan) and is also found in Sri Lanka.  It has been introduced to Nevada and Hawaii in the U.S. 

The Grey Francolin is grey/brown in colour and is barred over its body. They have a orange forehead and a slightly hooked beak. Males have one or two spurs on their legs.
